Alison Wasserman Gross' Fundraiser

Dear Friends and Family ,

I am so so so excited to share with you that for the second time I will be riding in the TD 5 Boro Bike Tour as a member of Team Sharsheret.

As many of you may know, my family has been impacted by breast cancer in the worst ways possible, but we have also been the beneficiaries of Sharsheret from early on. Sharsheret was the only organization that provided the vital culturally relevant support my loved ones desperately needed. Sharsheret is a national not-for-profit organization supporting women and families, at high risk and those facing breast and ovarian cancer at every stage-before, during, and after diagnosis.

My fundraising is in memory of two amazing women, my sister in law, Michelle Daman Wasserman z"l and my daughter-in-law's mother, Bonnie Weintraub z"l. Michelle & Bonnie were among the earliest members of the Sharsheret Family, when it was was a fledgling organization. Sharsheret is now the leading support organization for Jewish families facing breast cancer and Michelle's and Bonnie's children are the most amazing, sweet, sensitive, loving young adults I know.

As a member of this incredible Team, I have pledged to raise funds (which I hope to greatly exceed!) in support of Sharsheret's breast cancer and ovarian cancer programs and services. I am asking you to please support me in my efforts as I take on this challenge. All contributions are tax-deductible.
