Family & Friends,
As most of you are aware, I have made the decision to run another marathon and this time it will be the 2021 New York City Marathon which is happening on November 7, 2021. The countdown is truly on with just 6 days to go!
I will be running the 26.2 miles as an official member of Team Sharsheret - raising money for a charity that is supporting women and families facing breast and ovarian cancer at every stage - before, during, and after diagnosis.
I am running for Team Sharsheret because the advancements in treatments are truly amazing, which I have witnessed first hand through my Mum and close friend, Jakki Stout, who are so incredibly strong and brave, and with every little bit that is raised, this research and development will only continue.
This year's marathon is even more special as marathon placements are only guaranteed to those running to raise money for charities. This gave me the personal challenge and motivation to take this on and I hope to see as many of you on the day of the race supporting me along the route.
In advance of the day itself, I am asking if you could please support me in my fundraising efforts as I take on this challenge. Any contribution will mean so much (all contributions are tax-deductible).
