I am so excited for my Bat Mitzvah this year. I chose Sharsheret in honor of the women in my family. One of my aunts was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and this summer my other aunt got sick. She unfortunately passed away from colon cancer. Soon afterwards, my grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer too. When we heard about Sharsheret, it was the perfect project. I look forward to doing Tzedakah projects, collecting items for cancer patient care packages, and baking pies all to raise money and bring awareness to my community about breast cancer. I'm also really looking forward to Pink Day. I hope you'll help me reach my goal.
