I am scratching a major item off my bucket list and undertaking one of the biggest challenges of my life by participating in the 2026 Sun City Showdown BodyBuilding competition this June. I'm doing this to prove to myself its possible, to show my family that they can achieve anything they put their mind to and to honor my mother who unfortunately was lost to Ovarian Cancer years ago.
As many know, this form of cancer is particularly insidious as it hides itself until its often far too late to effectively treat.
In addition to your donation I'm going to contribute $1 for every mile of cardio I put from the beginning of May through the competition!
I'm hoping that my effort will help raise a little bit of awareness, support treatment research and make women dealing with this, or any form of cancer, feel empowered.
