Dear Friends and Family ,
I am so excited to share with you that I am an official member of Team Sharsheret for the 2023 United Airlines NYC Half Marathon
I have already began to train for my race, and am inspired to undertake this rigorous challenge as I am doing it in support of Sharsheret , a national not-for-profit organization supporting women and families, at high risk and those facing breast and ovarian cancer at every stage-before, during, and after diagnosis.
It is particularly meaningful for me to race with this team in honor of my friend Honnalora Hubbard, who will be with me for the race. I am also running in memory of my grandmother, Arlene Bachrach, who died of breast cancer at the age of 43.
As a member of this incredible Team, I have pledged to raise funds in support of Sharsheret's breast cancer and ovarian cancer programs and services. I am asking you to please support me in my efforts as I take on this challenge. I will be forever grateful! And all contributions are tax-deductible.
