Fundraising for Team Sharsheret

Dear Family and Friends,

I am thrilled to share that I am an official member of Team Sharsheret and will be running the 2026 NYC Marathon to raise funds for this important organization's work! I have already begun training (am I ever not "training"?), and I am inspired to undertake this challenge to support Sharsheret, a national not-for-profit organization supporting women and families facing breast and ovarian cancer at every stage before, during, and after diagnosis through free, confidential support, education, and financial assistance.

Breast cancer has touched my family through my sister, my cousin, and several aunts on both sides of the family; it has also touched more than 10 of my friends and colleagues. Ovarian cancer also has touched my family deeply through the loss of my sister-in-law, who fought it valiantly for over 20 years. I am honored to run to raise funds for research and programs to support people just like these special individuals.

As I continually hear about the invaluable resource that Sharsheret is for those facing these cancers and their support systems, I am inspired to help. As a member of this Team, I have pledged to raise funds in support of Sharsheret's breast and ovarian cancer programs and services.
