Dear Friends and Family ,
We are so excited to share with you that we are once again official members of Team Sharsheret for the 2022 TD Bank 5 Boro Bike Tour.
We have already began to train for the ride, and are inspired to undertake this rigorous challenge as we are doing it in support of Sharsheret , a national not-for-profit organization supporting women and families, at high risk and those facing breast and ovarian cancer at every stage-before, during, and after diagnosis.
We are riding in honor of a special friend, Rachel Malamud-Heching.
Rachel, a good friend found out in 2021 that she is a BRCA 1 mutation carrier. She is currently facing her health challenges head on with bravery and calmness, continually inspiring others to do the same.
As a member of this incredible Team, we have pledged to raise funds (which we hope to greatly exceed!) in support of Sharsheret's breast cancer and ovarian cancer programs and services. We are asking you to please support us in the athletic and fundraising efforts as we once again take on this challenge, and ask for corporate matching for your gift too! All contributions are tax-deductible.
