Dear Friends and Family ,

I am so excited to share with you that I am an official member of Team Sharsheret for the 2025 TCS NYC Marathon.

I have already begun to train for my race, and am inspired to undertake this rigorous challenge as I am doing it in support of Sharsheret, a national not-for-profit organization supporting women and families at high risk and those facing breast and ovarian cancer at every stage before, during, and after diagnosis.

I am particularly honored to run in memory of two incredible women who received Sharsheret’s support during their battle with breast cancer. 

Vivian Zisholtz, z’l, my brother-in-law's mother, was a devoted mother of four, a dedicated occupational therapist, and a pillar of her Atlanta Jewish community. Her love and enthusiasm for helping others as an OT in fact inspired my decision to pursue a career as an OT as well. She selflessly opened her home to others and gave her time to countless charitable causes. Known for her radiant smile and warm, outgoing nature, Vivian left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.

Sharon Cohn, z’l, my neighbor and mom’s close friend, was a loving mother of three and a beloved kindergarten teacher whose vibrant personality lit up every room. With her quick wit and infectious humor, she had an incredible gift for making people laugh and brightening anyone's day. Even during some of her most challenging days battling cancer, she remained upbeat and ready to laugh. She was beloved by our entire family and community. 

As a member of this incredible Team, I have pledged to raise funds (which I hope to greatly exceed!) in support of Sharsheret's breast cancer and ovarian cancer programs and services. I am asking you to please support me in my athletic and fundraising efforts as I take on this challenge. All  contributions  are  tax-deductible and ask your employer if they will match your gift!
