Dear Friends and Family,

I’m excited to share that I am an official member of Team Sharsheret for the 2026 TCS NYC Marathon.

I’ve begun training for the race and am honored to take on this challenge while supporting Sharsheret, a national nonprofit organization that provides critical support to Jewish women and families facing breast and ovarian cancer before, during, and after diagnosis. Sharsheret also provides services to the broader community, with 20–25% of the families they support not being Jewish.

This cause is very meaningful to me, both personally and professionally. As a nurse practitioner, I have cared for many women undergoing breast surgery and have seen firsthand how difficult that journey can be. Last year, during my first mammogram and ultrasound, a suspicious mass was found. Thankfully, the biopsy was benign but going through that experience gave me a deeper appreciation for the support and resources organizations like Sharsheret provide.

Running the NYC Marathon is a huge personal goal, and I’m grateful to pursue it while raising funds and awareness for such an important mission. As a member of this incredible team, I have pledged to raise funds in support of Sharsheret’s breast and ovarian cancer programs and services.
