Dear Friends and Family,
I’m honored to share that I’ll be running the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon once again as part of Team Sharsheret. Last year was my first NYC Marathon, and it was an experience I’ll never forget. Having my family and friends there supporting me and waiting for me at the finish line made crossing it even more special.
As I train for my second NYC Marathon, this year feels very different. I’m running in loving memory of my mom, Aliza Rivka bat Harav Shneur Avraham. Running this marathon gives me a way to honor her memory while supporting an organization that was there for my family when we needed it most.
This has been an incredibly challenging year, but I continue to push forward each day, trying to live in a way that would make her proud and to be better because of everything she taught me.
Sharsheret supported my family in a real and meaningful way, providing guidance, resources, and a community during an incredibly difficult time. Running with Team Sharsheret is my way of giving back and helping ensure that other families can receive that same support when they need it most.
Sharsheret provides critical, culturally relevant support to Jewish women and families facing breast and ovarian cancer before, during, and after diagnosis. Every dollar raised helps make these services possible and ensures that families do not have to navigate this journey alone.
