Dearest People I Love,
I'm excited to share with you that, for the second year, I'll be running the 2022 TCS NYC Marathon as a member of Team Sharsheret.
It brings me so much joy to run in support of Sharsheret, a national not-for-profit organization supporting women and families at high risk, and those facing breast and ovarian cancer at every stage-before, during, and after diagnosis.
Sharsheret holds a special place in my family's heart. When my sister Jennifer (a two-time survivor) was diagnosed with breast cancer - and throughout her many years of surgeries, treatment and recovery - Sharsheret stepped in with the most incredible support and compassion that one could hope for. Our family will be forever grateful. Taking on this challenge is literally the least I can do to support an organization that cares so deeply for women and their families in moments of pain and crisis.
As a member of this special Team, I have pledged to raise funds (which I hope to greatly exceed) in support of Sharsheret's breast cancer and ovarian cancer programs and services. I am asking for your help! Anything you can contribute is so appreciated. All contributions are tax-deductible.
