Dear Friends and Family,
In celebration of my 20 years as a breast cancer survivor and in my memory of my mom, Charlotte Levin, who lost her battle with ovarian cancer in 2013, I am excited to share with you that I am an official member of Team Sharsheret for the 2022 Chicago Marathon!
It has been 10 years since I completed my last full marathon (this will be my 6th!), but I am motivated to take on the training challenge again in support of a cause that is very personal to me. Sharsheret is a national not-for-profit organization supporting women and families at high risk and those facing breast and ovarian cancer at every stage - before, during and after diagnosis.
As part of Team Sharsheret I have pledged to raise at least $2500 in support of their breast cancer and ovarian cancer programs and services. Can I count on your moral and financial support to help me reach this goal and to cross the finish line in Chicago on October 9th? All contributions are tax-deductible and corporate matching gifts are welcome too!
