Dear Friends,
I'm excited to share with you that once again, I'm an official member of 'Team Sharsheret' and will be participating in my 2nd NYC Marathon (my first IRL) on Sunday, November 6, 2022.
Sharsheret, a national not-for-profit, is a wonderful organization that supports women and families, of all Jewish backgrounds, facing breast and ovarian cancer at every stage—before, during, and after diagnosis. So it's an honor to continue my eight-year relationship with them!
As many of you know, I was diagnosed with breast cancer during the summer of 2012. It was an extremely difficult time in my life, but with the support of my wonderful friends & family and amazing organizations like Sharsheret, I was able to regain my health and am now stronger than ever.
So the first Sunday in November, I will tackle the 26.2 miles and cross the finish line with my hands in the air. I will do this not only as a personal victory over cancer, but to show other women going through the same ordeal that they are not alone!
I am very proud to be a dedicated fundraiser for Team Sharsheret. Thank you, in advance, for your support!
