Lindsey Lamchick's Fundraiser

Dear Family and Friends,

The Miami Marathon is particularly meaningful to me because every year it falls within days of my breast cancer diagnosis anniversary.

As long as I am able, I want to keep showing up, running, raising money for Sharsheret, and using these miles to support such an important cause.

In 2025, less than six months after finishing chemotherapy and having my double mastectomy and reconstruction, I ran the Miami Half Marathon alongside Dr. Starr Mautner, the doctor who saved my life.

In 2026, I came back and did something I never thought I could do: I ran my first full marathon.

And in 2027, I’ll be back at that starting line again, within days of my three-year cancerversary.

Three years since the day my life changed. Three years of treatment, surgeries, recovery, strength, gratitude, and so many miles.

I never take for granted that I get to be here. I get to run. And I get to use these miles to help other women and families facing cancer.

As long as I can, I hope to keep coming back to this race and running for Sharsheret.
