My name is Noah Altman, in 2017, my healthy mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. To say this came as a shock to my family and I is an understatement. For most people a diagnosis like this would be debilitating both mentally and physically, however I did not see my mother falter a all through out her battle. After my mother received her diagnosis, her journey to become healthy once again began and would last many months. Thank God she is now fully recovered and healthy!
Last year I had the Honor and Privilege to run the NYC Marathon for Sharsheret. There are truly no words I can use to describe how amazing this organization is and what a privilege it is to run and raise money for them. After I successfully completed the Marathon last year I remained connected to Sharsheret through a leadership role in their young professionals group and when the time came around this year to Run for the Team I was absolutely delighted to be chosen to once again represent Team Sharsheret. Through Sharsheret I was able to meet so many amazing people and hear so many empowering stories which I will now use as inspiration on the long challenging path ahead of me. Through running the Marathon with Sharsheret last year I have learned that when it comes to doing good, there is truly no challenge to big that cant be overcome and I will keep that mindset with me as I approach the obstacles ahead. I truly look forward to the road ahead and hope you can contribute to the my fundraising efforts!
Thank you for your support and donations!
Best,
Noah Altman
