Rebecca Cooper's Fundraiser

Dear Friends and Family,

I am so excited to share with you that I am an official member of Team Sharsheret for the 2026 TCS NYC Marathon.

I have already begun to train for my race, and am inspired to undertake this rigorous challenge as I am doing it in support of Sharsheret, a national not-for-profit organization supporting women and families at high risk and those facing breast and ovarian cancer at every stage before, during, and after diagnosis.

It is particularly meaningful for me to race on behalf of Sharsheret because of the support they have provided for friends who were touched by breast cancer and ovarian cancer.

I have been volunteering with Sharsheret since high school. I started off spending my senior year externship at the Teaneck office, helping out in any way I could. In college, I continued by serving as on the board of the Sharsheret branch on campus.

I have seen and continue to see how wonderful Sharsheret is for many friends and thousands of others locally and nationally, but I wonder how I could continue to do more. By taking on this personal challenge and joining with the other members of Team Sharsheret, I have found my answer. 

As a member of this incredible Team, I have pledged to raise funds (which I hope to greatly exceed!) in support of Sharsheret's breast cancer and ovarian cancer programs and services. I am asking you to please support me in my athletic and fundraising efforts as I take on this challenge. All contributions are tax-deductible and ask your employer if they will match your gift!
