Dear friends and family,
I am very excited to be an official member of Team Sharsheret for the 2022 Chicago Marathon.
I have started to train for the race and I am excited to take on this challenge to support Sharsheret, a national not-for-profit organization supporting women and families at high risk for and those facing breast and ovarian cancer at every stage- before, during, and after the diagnosis.
It is meaningful for me to race on behalf of Sharsheret because of the support they have provided for many friends and former patients. As an Oncologist for 30 years in the suburban Maryland and DC area I have seen the support these families need being met by this group. Now that I have retired from Oncology practice I would like to continue to provide support for these women and their families with supporting an organization that provides so much.
As a member for this incredible Team I have pledged to raise funds in support of Sharsheret's breast cancer and ovarian cancer programs and services.
