I'm thrilled to be running my second marathon with Team Sharsheret!
When I ran with Sharsheret in 2021, I thought about my mother-in-law Shari and my grandmother Nettie z”l, both of whom survived breast cancer.
I recently went to the funeral of my friend Rachel Olshin's mother, who died after her second battle with breast cancer. Sara Rudoff Olshin z"l was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend, and community member who lived passionately and fought for causes she believed in deeply, including during her treatment. She was a huge supporter and beneficiary of Sharsheret's work from its earliest days.
Listening to people speak about her and her relationship with Sharsheret drove home for me how essential this work is. This year, I’m running with Sara and her family in mind.
