Dear Friends and Family,
It is with great pride that I get to share with you that I am an official member of Team Sharsheret for the 2026 TCS NYC Marathon running on November 1st, 2026.
I have already begun to train for my race, and am inspired to undertake this rigorous challenge as I am doing it in memory of my wife, Cyndi Ginsburg, and in support of Sharsheret, a national not-for-profit organization supporting women and families at high risk and those facing breast and ovarian cancer at every stage before, during, and after diagnosis. Cyndi found comfort and valuable information from this organization from their caring and understanding staff throughout her challenging journey.
It is particularly meaningful for me to race on behalf of Sharsheret because of the support they have provided for my myself and Cyndi who were touched so deeply by breast cancer. As I continually hear about the wonderful resource Sharsheret is for many friends and thousands of others locally and nationally, I wonder how I could do more. How can I make a difference? By taking on this personal challenge and joining with the other members of Team Sharsheret I have found my answer.
As a member of this incredible Team, I have pledged to raise funds (which I hope to greatly exceed!) in support of Sharsheret's breast cancer and ovarian cancer programs and services. I am asking you to please support me in my athletic and fundraising efforts in memory of my beloved wife and mother to our two sons, Cyndi Ginsburg, as I take on this challenge. All contributions are tax-deductible and ask your employer if they will match your gift!
