Dear family and friends,

I am excited to share with you that I am an official member of Team Sharsheret for the 2027 Miami Lifetime Half Marathon. I am participating in support of Sharsheret, a national nonprofit organization supporting women and families at high risk and those facing breast or ovarian cancer at every stage – before, during and after diagnosis.

I first became involved with Sharsheret as part of their 2010 NY Marathon team (no, that’s not a typo).I was inspired by the outreach to Lisa, the mother of my son’s best friend. In the years since, I’ve watched as the organization has broadened the size and scope of its mission. The support, education and advocacy Sharsheret provides are needed even more today than was the case in 2010, and I am delighted to have the opportunity to help the “team” once again.

I invite you to support Sharsheret by sponsoring my run this January. Your contributions are directed one hundred percent to the organization, and all donations, large or small, are appreciated.
