Dear Friends,
I’m incredibly excited to share that I’ll be running my first-ever half marathon as a member of Team Sharsheret at the 2027 Life Time Miami Marathon and Half.
For me, this race is about much more than running 13.1 miles. It’s an opportunity to do something challenging and meaningful for an organization that has been a part of my life for many years.
Sharsheret is an organization that is especially close to my heart. I first became involved with Sharsheret as an undergraduate, and that experience stayed with me long after college. Today, I’m proud to continue that work as a member of Sharsheret’s Men’s Leadership Council. The organization’s impact is something I’ve been fortunate to witness throughout my years of involvement, and it is one of the reasons I continue to feel so strongly about its mission.
I’ve never run a half marathon before, and I know the training and 13.1 miles ahead of me will be a real challenge. But I can’t think of a better reason to push myself. Each mile will be a reminder of the women and families Sharsheret supports and of the importance of making sure they have the resources and community they need when they need it most.
I’m asking you to join me in supporting this cause that means so much to me. Any contribution, large or small, will help Sharsheret continue its important work and will make every mile of this journey that much more meaningful.
