Dear Friends and Family,
I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be running the 2026 Life Time Miami Half Marathon as a proud member of Team Sharsheret! This will be my third race with this incredible team and my second time taking on the Miami course.
As many of you know, running has always been a huge part of my life; and now, it’s also a way I give back. After being diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer in 2020, running took on an even deeper meaning. It became a source of strength and healing! And now, it’s how I honor that journey and support others facing their own.
When I was going through treatment, Sharsheret was there for me. They offered compassionate, culturally relevant support that helped me navigate one of the most difficult times in my life. I’ve seen firsthand how vital their services are—and I’ve seen them do the same for countless others. Today, I’m honored not only to run on their behalf but also to serve on Sharsheret’s Southeast Advisory Committee, helping expand their reach and impact in our community.
Sharsheret is a national not-for-profit organization supporting men, women and families before, during, and after a diagnosis. By joining Team Sharsheret, I’ve pledged to raise at least $2500 to help them continue offering these life-changing programs. I hope to surpass my goal with your help.
