Yael Kaufman - TCS NYC Marathon 2026 - Sharsheret

Dear Friends and Family,

I am so excited to share that I’ll be running the 2026 TCS NYC Marathon as an official member of Team Sharsheret!

Training is already underway, and I feel incredibly honored to be running in support of Sharsheret, a national nonprofit that helps women and families facing breast and ovarian cancer at every stage, from prevention through diagnosis and beyond.

This run is especially meaningful to me because I’m doing it in honor of both of my grandmothers, Fraida Aland (Grammy) and Sue-Ann Kaufman (Safti). My Grammy, who we lost to ovarian cancer last year, was the most elegant, fierce, and iconic woman. My Safti is a proud breast cancer survivor—kind, brave, and endlessly loving. They are two of the strongest women I’ve ever known, and I’m so proud to run in their honor.

As part of Team Sharsheret, I’ve committed to raising funds to support their critical programs and services, and I’m hoping to exceed my goal. I would be so grateful for your support as I take on this challenge, both physically and in fundraising. Every contribution makes a difference, is tax-deductible, and many employers offer matching gifts.
