The session emphasizes real-world tips that can be applied immediately to ease financial stress and support informed decision-making throughout the cancer journey. We will hear from Family Reach's Director of Programs & Quality Assurance, Dane Bouck, and Senior Manager of Resource Navigation, Devin Traxler Burkhart, and Jewish Free Loan Association of Los Angeles Partner Officer, Rebecca Rosansky.

Dane Bouck 
Dane is the Director of Programs & Quality Assurance at Family Reach, where he leads financial assistance initiatives to help to remove the financial barriers facing cancer patients.

With over 10 years of nonprofit work, Dane has worked in all levels of operation serving people in need. Past experience such as direct service provision supporting mental health services and compliance initiatives within childcare subsidy as well as disability services, led to Dane’s passion for building and leading sustainable people centered programs.

Dane is rooted in crafting and maintaining equitable, quality, and reliable financial assistance programming to ensure cancer care is accessible to all.

Devin Traxler Burkhart
Devin is the Senior Manager of Resource Navigation at Family Reach. A social worker who started her tenure working directly with patients, she transitioned her frontline expertise into program development, architecting Family Reach's Resource Navigation into the robust service it is today.

Devin is dedicated to empowering her team to provide holistic care, and ensuring patients don't need to navigate cancer without a roadmap.
 
Practicing the self-care she encourages for her team, Devin can probably be found playing video games or crocheting with a dog in her lap.
 
Rebecca Rosansky 
Becky serves as the Partnership Officer for the Jewish Free Loan Association, which is a Los Angeles based nonprofit. Since 1904, they have provided thousands of zero-interest, zero-fee loans for people of all faiths and backgrounds for a wide range of needs. In her role, Becky does community outreach by building partnerships with a variety of nonprofits, government agencies, and institutions.
