Sahar Wertheimer MD earned her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Women’s Health at Montefiore Medical Center and then traded in the cold to do her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Cedars Sinai. Erin Weinreich, LMSW, Support Program Coordinator, is a graduate of Yeshiva University Wurzweiler School of Social Work. Erin assists in the delivery of Sharsheret’s cancer support programs and provides tailored support and resources for women living with and at risk of developing Breast or Ovarian Cancer.
Peggy Cottrell, MS, CGC, Genetics Program Manager, is a graduate of the Sarah Lawrence College Master of Science in Genetic Counseling program. At Sharsheret, Peggy consults with women and families and answers individual questions about their family histories, BRCA mutations, and personal risks of hereditary breast and ovarian cancer, and contributes to the development and implementation of Sharsheret’s hereditary cancer resources and programs.
