As a Team Sharsheret athlete we are able to provide you the opportunity to make your miles meaningful by raising awareness of breast cancer and ovarian cancer, as well as raising necessary funds to help us support over 250,000 women, families, health care professionals, community leaders, and students, throughout the country and in Israel. Sharsheret provides culturally relevant support and information to women and families facing breast and ovarian cancer. Sharsheret creates a safe community for women at every stage—before, during, and after diagnosis. We offer tailored resources, information, and support to caregivers, family members, and friends of women facing breast and ovarian cancer to guide them through the cancer journey. All services are free, confidential, and easily accessed online and by phone, email, text, and livechat. Our services are individualized and are provided one-on-one by skilled, trained social workers and genetic counselors who provide "links in the chain" of support. Additionally we offer educational outreach within the community to healthcare professionals, community organizations and college students.
