Dear Friends and Family,

I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be running the 2025 Bank of America Chicago Marathon as an official member of Team Sharsheret.

Sharsheret is a Jewish nonprofit dedicated to supporting women and families at high risk for, or facing, breast and ovarian cancer at every stage—before, during, and after diagnosis. One in 40 Jews of Ashkenazi descent carries a BRCA1 or BRCA2 gene mutation—compared to 1 in 400 in the general population—which significantly increases the risk of developing various cancers. Sharsheret provides a vital network of emotional, financial, and educational support to those navigating these challenges.

This cause is deeply personal to me, as breast cancer has impacted multiple members of my family, including my mother, Barbara, who has bravely overcome the disease twice. I am running in honor of her and the many others whose lives have been touched by breast cancer.

As a proud member of Team Sharsheret, I have pledged to raise at least $3,600 to support their meaningful work.
