Dear Friends and Family,

I am excited to share with you I am an official member of Team Sharsheret for the 2023 TCS NYC Marathon.

I have been inspired to undertake this rigorous challenge in support of Sharsheret, a national not-for-profit organization that supports women and families at high risk, and those facing breast and ovarian cancer at every stage before, during, and after diagnosis. 

It is particularly meaningful for me to race on behalf of Sharsheret because of the tremendous ongoing support Sharsheret provides for friends, families, and community members touched by breast cancer and ovarian cancer. Sharsheret is the only organization that has provided the vital culturally relevant support to those desperately seeking it. As I continue to learn about the amazing resource Sharsheret is for thousands locally and nationally, I have thought about how I can help. By joining with others members of Team Sharsheret I have found my answer.

As a member of this incredible Team, I have pledged to raise funds (which I hope to greatly exceed!) in support of Sharsheret’s breast and ovarian cancer programs and services. Respectfully, I ask you to please support my athletic and fundraising efforts as I undertake this challenge on behalf of Sharsheret. Ask for corporate matching for your gift, too. All contributions are tax-deductible.
