Support My NYC Marathon Run – Honoring My Mother and Sharsheret
In 2025, I’ll be running the NYC Marathon to honor my mother, who bravely overcame breast cancer in 2008. Her strength and resilience have inspired me every day, and this marathon is my way of celebrating her successful battle and showing my gratitude for all the love and support we received during that time.
As part of this journey, I am raising funds for Sharsheret, an organization that holds a special place in my heart. Sharsheret provides invaluable psychosocial support and resources for women diagnosed with breast cancer or those at high risk due to the BRCA gene. They empower women and families to better understand their unique circumstances, cope with challenges, and make informed decisions about treatment.
Sharsheret’s work also includes providing specialized support for women living with metastatic or advanced breast cancer and ovarian cancer, which is a critical resource for those facing the most difficult stages of their cancer journey.
Every step I take in this marathon will represent not just my mom's battle, but the strength of every woman and family Sharsheret touches. Your support will help fund Sharsheret’s mission and make a difference in the lives of many.
