Dear Friends and Family,
I am so so so excited to share with you that I am an official member of Team Sharsheret for theNYC Half Marathon on March 17, 2024.
I have already began to train for my race, and am inspired to undertake this rigorous challenge as I am doing it in support of Sharsheret, a national not-for-profit organization supporting women and families, at high risk and those facing breast and ovarian cancer at every stage-before, during, and after diagnosis.
It is particularly meaningful for me to race on behalf of Sharsheret because of the support they provided for me in 2021-22 when I was diagnosed and treated for breast cancer.
Since that time, I have been working hard to get stronger and find new ways to give back to the community. I am honored to have been chosen as one of 25 people on this team to raise funds for breast cancer.
I am asking you to please support me in my athletic and fundraising efforts as I take on this challenge. All contributions are tax-deductible.
