Educator Sherry Helfand Wiener's personal and professional experiences taught her that young adults need help to learn how to support each other when loved ones are personally affected by breast cancer or ovarian cancer. She knew that Sharsheret would be the perfect partner to address this void. Sherry's vision inspired and guided the development of "My Second Backpack," an educational film and facilitated discussion for young adults, premiering on Tuesday May 3rd, 7-8pm ET.
A conversation guide will be distributed to accompany the film. Following the film there will be a facilitated dialogue featuring Sherry Helfand Wiener, the visionary behind the film, Bill Blank and Michelle Jasper-Brody, Leffel School Psychologists and Elana Silber, CEO of Sharsheret.
